Green homes grant scheme in Cornwall, how quotes will be affected now that Boris Johnson has been advised by his scientific team that a new national lockdown should be imposed, the announcement has revealed a month long lockdown will begin Thursday the 5th of November until the 2nd of December.
Sir Patrick Vallance and Prof Chris Whitty, have warned the prime minister that a national lockdown is required across England. The scientists have shown Boris Johnson evidence that Covid-19 is spreading much faster than their worst-case predictions.

Best Glaze LTD wants to continue to quote for green scheme work during a lockdown so we have created a ‘Self Survey’ sheet that will be used for quotation purposes only. It will allow customers to measure single glazed windows and doors that they want upgraded to double glazing under the Green Homes Grant Scheme.
There are instructions included that will help customers get the measurements needed in order for Best Glaze to create a quote during the next national lockdown. We will not be offering home consultations during the pandemic as the Glazing Federation is expected to announce that home visits will not be advised.

Instructions
How to measure windows
- Measure from reveal to reveal
- Include the cill in the height measurement
- Take x3 measurements as per the image below and record the smallest measurement
- Repeat the same principal for measure the height of the window, including the cill.
- Label The windows clearly with a tag you will easily recognise
- Photograph and label the windows/doors
